It is still very tough in today's market to get a short sale or foreclosure to go smoothly.  I will say it depends on the company managing the short sales or foreclosures and the individuals involved.

Given the vast majority of foreclosures and short sales, I can understand that this is a tedious and long process, but if we all cooperated a bit more, it would definetely help make the process smoother for our customers and all parties involved.  I find that I am the one trying to coordinate everybody and nobody knows who is suppose to do what.  If only we all knew, it would make it more pleasant.
